Our History
Inc. Since 2017
Since its founding in 2017, EDI has worked with organizations large and small in cultivating their culture and climate into genuinely inclusive environments for their people. With years of prior experience, our CEO & Chief Diversity Officer Mohammed (Mo) Ahamed founded EDI due to recurring issues he observed in his consultative work with companies and organizations across the country and globe. Today, we are combining interdisciplinary expertise in many areas to advance DEIB strategies in executive recruitment, leadership development, organizational development and change management in an increasingly interconnected global marketplace. Over the past few years, EDI has grown to become one of the premier executive search firms and management consulting companies with a diversity, equity, and inclusion focus in the U.S. Our cutting-edge inclusive executive search methodology, innovative HR solutions and approaches to leadership – such as the EDI B.O.L.D leadership Method, and a focus on building lasting relationships have earned the firm its reputation with our partners and a high retention rate of clients.
